Clue #5


Pair together one of your dark blue/cream four-patches from Clue #1 with a HST from Clue #3 as shown. Sew the seam and press towards the four-patch. Repeat for remaining seven (7) dark blue/cream four-patches and seven (7) HSTs, you will end up with eight (8) units.

Pair together one of your dark red/cream four-patches from Clue #2 with a HST from Clue #3 as shown. Sew the seam and press towards the four-patch. Repeat for remaining seven (7) dark red/cream four-patches and seven (7) HSTs, you will end up with eight (8) units.

Pair together one of the units from the first step with one of the units from the second step as shown. You should have eight (8) units when finished.

Using the remaining 16 HSTs, pair them up into eight (8) Flying Geese units as shown.

Sew two Flying Geese units to opposite sides of the units made in Clue #4 as shown. You will have four (4) units.

Sew two Flying Geese / Four Patch units to opposite sides of the units from the previous step as shown. This will complete the four blocks for this table runner.
