Mystery Quilt #4
Clue #1

From your Light and your Medium fabrics, cut 5 strips measuring 2½" x WOF. Cut 18" off the end of one Light and one Medium strip; set these aside for later.

Sew together one Light strip and one Medium strip along a long edge, to make a strip set as shown. Repeat for all remaining Light and Medium strips (except the pieces set aside). Cut the strip sets into 2½" sections as shown. You will cut 72 sections.

Pair together two sections from the previous step to create a Four-Patch as shown. You will create a total of 36 Four-Patches.

From each of your Dark #1 and Dark #2 fabrics, cut 3 strips measuring 2½" x WOF. Cut these strips into 36 squares of each color, measuring 2½" x 2½". Set aside for later.

From your Medium fabric, cut 2 more strips measuring 2½" x WOF. Cut these strips, plus the 18" length saved from the first step above, into 36 squares measuring 2½" x 2½". Set aside for later.
