Mystery Quilt #4
Clue #6

Sew together 4 of the 2½" x 2½" Medium squares you cut in Clue #5 with 3 of the 2½" x 12½" Light strips you cut in Clue #5 to make a strip as shown. Make a total of 4 of these strips.

Sew together 4 of the 2½" x 12½" Light strips you cut in Clue #5 and 3 of your finished Blocks to make a strip as shown. Make a total of 3 of these strips.

Starting with a Medium/Light strip, alternate between strips to create the center of your quilt top as shown.

Sew one of your 4½" x 44½" Border strips to each side of your quilt top as shown.

Sew one of the Medium/Border Four-Patches you made in Clue #2 to each end of the two remaining 4½" x 44½" Border strips, with the Four-Patches oriented as shown.

Sew one of these strips to the top of your quilt top, and the other to the bottom of your quilt top, as shown. This is how your quilt top should look, based on the sample quilt I made in EQ6.

Quilt top measurements: 52" x 52"
Layer quilt top with batting and backing; quilt as desired and bind. Voila! A lovely lap quilt or LARGE wallhanging. :)
