Of course, you don't need to use the paper piecing templates, you can sew the pieces together and trim to size. I've personally found that oblong triangles like these can be tricky to work with, which might make the paper piecing route easier. It's all up to you! :)
From your light blue fabric, cut 4 pieces 8" x 6". Cut two along one diagonal, and cut the other two along the other
diagonal, as indicated below. You will have two sets of triangles, with 4 triangles in each set.
From your dark spring fabric, cut 2 pieces from each, measuring 7" x 5". Cut one along one diagonal, and cut the other
along the other diagonal, as indicated below. Keep one of each size triangle, the other will not be needed for this project.
Using the paper piecing templates and the pieces you just cut, sew 4 of Template A and 4 of Template B. You will need one light blue
triangle and one Dark Spring Fabric for each. Trim as necessary, leaving a ¼" seam allowance. Your trimmed pieces should measure
6½" x 4½".

Sew these two units together as shown. You should have 4 Partial Block units such as this, one in each of your light/dark
Spring Fabric combinations, at the end of this clue.
That's all for clue #4! Stay tuned for Clue #5...
